I was in a hurry to get ready for school this morning and decided to stay simple. Literally only a three piece outfit! Crazy right? 

I typically don't buy printed long sleeves. I realized this once I put this one in my closet; for some odd reason my long sleeve shirts are all mainly plain. Anyways, I really love this new top because for one it's floral! and secondly it has a little more style than just a typical t-shirt, but it's still comfy and casual. Lately, I'm obsessed with being comfy. Haha which probably has something to do with the amount of stress consuming me recently. When all else fails, dress in something that makes you feel good. Simple as that.

Okay, so first of all I'm sick with a cold that has been mentally messing me up for the past three days. Today my flat iron almost burned down the house. I left it plugged in and on from about 9am until approximately 5pm. Yep, all day. Luckily all was still standing when I finally realized it. I also left for school with zero rings on my fingers. And let me tell you I never forget or leave the house without my rings. It's like having naked hands. Horrible, I know. Plus my boyfriend gets all suspicious that I'm upset or angry with him when I don't wear the ones he's given me. (Now I know how to send a message if I need too. Haha.) So all of this leads me to the fact that I completely and accidentally lied in my last post. Yes. Lied. I never even went to London. Well, to be completely honest I did land at an airport in London for a few hours, but actually visit the city.... no I have not. To be fair, I did not realize I was lying until several hours later. The exact moment was when I was chatting with my mom about my blog and the post name and she kindly said "But we didn't go to London...." The sickness has taken over. I've either lost my mind or lost my mind. Haha. My apologies loves, hope you'd forgive me and my congested head. 

If it helps at all I think part of it was that it was part of the U.K. Gibraltar, U.K. For some reason I couldn't remember that little fact. But hey! I really did eat chips at least! It wasn't all a lie. :)

Is it even really a lie if you don't know your lying?

The past couple weeks have just been a jumble. School has definitely kept me busy. First of all, I am so happy that it is november! I just love this time of year. 

So I'm sick and today is kind of a gloomy day, but I decided to finally blog about my trip! These photos were actually taken in London! Let me just say that London is gorgeous and the "chips" are so delicious! They're basically thick fries, but they call them chips. I know, I didn't get it either...

 Anyways, back to my outfit. This is my absolute favorite blazer. It's sort of nautical and fun yet tailored and sophisticated. Paired with my three dollar thrifted necklace. Just perfection.

Alright so I realize it's been forever since I posted last, but I have a decent excuse! I've been out of the country on a family vacation for the past two weeks. Yes, exciting! It was so much fun. We went on a cruise and were given gourmet meals and free service! Even had a personal butler named Romeo. Ha! I'm telling you the truth. 

Anyways, the trip was amazing, but I am so glad to be home. By the last couple of days, I was ready to go home and get back to my normal life. Something in me just craved normalcy even though it included college and daily homework along with no butler or free food or drinks. Boo. So today, well yesterday actually, was the first day back to class so I decided to wear something that made me feel cute and autumn appropriate. I was pleased to wear something I hadn't had in my suitcase finally! It was like getting new clothes! Happy day despite my terrible jet lag and reality realization. Haha oh well! 

P.S. I decided to include a photo of my man, Jarrett. I just felt the need to take his picture. I mean isn't he cuuute? I thought so.

Let me start by saying how comfortable this outfit is. I feel so put together, yet so un-tailored. Jarrett and I decided to go take a few photos while he waited for class to start. Lucky me, my class was cancelled! It's the little things in life that tend to make me smile. Not sitting in class for three hours? Totally good news. 

So we found this area to take pictures and I just loved the view of the town. What I didn't love so much was all of the little sticker things that the bottom of my dress collected. Jarrett and I had to stand there picking each sticker off, while trying not to poke our fingers. It was quite ironic. Beautiful view to lure you in and before you know it stickers all over your clothes.. Sometimes it's the little things in life that drive me crazy! It's funny how they were invisible until I felt them stabbing my legs.. Maybe that's a tiny bit dramatic, but still. Haha.
