Hello everyone! This was my Thanksgiving day outfit. 

How was your holiday? I hope you ate a lot of turkey and mashed potatoes...and green bean casserole (aka the best thing ever) ! & are continuing the celebration with leftovers for days. I just adore the holidays, despite the stress and hectic crowds, I love everything about the holiday season. The red holiday cups at Starbucks is one of those things that just makes you smile. & totally crave a peppermint mocha. [don't judge] :)

I'm thankful for every one of you readers! Thank you for being so awesome.

A pop of color [for once]

Goodmorning friends! For some reason I am experiencing writers block [bloggers block]. Staring at the screen without having much of anything to say. Now that is a sad, sad problem. 

Well, this is a brand new sweater I found at Target! I was so surprised when I saw it because it looks kind of J.Crew in my opinion. I look at all these bloggers wearing bright shades and pops of color and I just don't ever really do that. I keep buying and wanting garments in shades of burgundy or grey or even black for fall and winter so I made myself buy this bright sweater. It's probably the brightest thing in my closet. That may be a sad, sad thing, too. Oh dear.

So Olivia Palermo is amazing and has fabulous style. (As if you hadn't noticed) 

She inspired me today.

I've been looking for ways to layer this chambray shirt for fall and when I saw this photo of Olivia Palermo I fell in love with her look! This was my take on her outfit. Did I do it justice?
