Magical

dress: h&m. shoes: h&m. bag: dooney&bourke. necklace: thrifted ($3). bracelet: tiffany&co (gift). white ring: david yurman.

Jarrett and I did a little h&m shopping the other night and found this great dress and shoes! I fell in love with this dress and the way the fabric is mirrored down the front and sides! It is super comfortable and very figure flattering (which is always a bonus!) The shoes on the other hand were sort of an impulse buy...Okay, really an impulse buy. I wore this outfit out for a date night and loved how comfortable the kitten heel was to walk in. I have actually never owned a pair of pointed toe heels, kitten heels, OR baby pink heels! Can you believe it? These shoes are a whole new world for me... & trust me, it's magical

p.s. If you aren't a Disney movie lover like me, I am totally referring to Aladdin (the magic carpet ride & all).

Free bird

sweater: nordstrom b.p. skirt: free people. boots: steve madden. purse: thrifted dooney&bourke. bracelets: vintage (my mom's) necklace: tiffany&co.

I wore this outfit to an evening church service last night and a very similar outfit the night before to an event. The event was a fundraiser/concert for the organization/ministry called Krochet Kids featuring my brother's friends' up and coming band titled J Thoven (who are amazing & I'm a little bit obsessed). I am starting to realize that I really love to wear many different styles. Every time I get into a vintage-styled or "free people" esque outfit I just feel a certain way.
& I just adore it.

Fun Zone

dress: h&m. bag: lucky brand (ex-employee discount). shoe: report (nordstrom rack). bracelets: marc jacobs & thrifted. sunnies: marc jacobs. necklaces: tiffany&co.

Finally, Jarrett and I got to spend a whole day together! We decided to have a little vacation day and visit Balboa Island in Newport beach. It was such a fun day doing something we don't usually do and acting like tourists in our own backyard. We took the ferry across to Balboa's Fun Zone and had some fun! The ferris wheel was small, but let me tell you, it was dangerous! Haha. As we got in, the ride attendant said, "get comfortable it'll be awhile" and we giggled thinking "yeah okay maybe two times around, right?". Oh no no no, it literally went around like 20 times. It was hilarious. Anyways, we enjoyed the heat and our rainbow sprinkled frozen banana! I loved wearing this outfit all day. It was the perfect, most comfortable outfit for walking around Balboa in the hot sun. Tying up the dress made it easy to walk and gave a little room to cool down, plus totally fits into the knot trend. I also wore a bathing suit top instead of a regular undergarment, which was great for hanging out down by the bay.

Have a happy Saturday ladies!
